Summer Lake Tsunamis 2026 coaching staff:
Head Coach:
Griffin Andrews: I’m a biology major at James Madison University with a minor in Pre-PA, and this is my third year as the Summer Lake Head Coach! I’ve been swimming competitively since I was 5 years old and have spent the last nine years with the Tsunamis. I swam with the Quest Club Team and was a member of the Cosby Varsity Swim Team all four years of high school, becoming a captain of that team my senior year. With three years of assistant coaching and two years of head coaching under my belt, I’m excited to use my skills to help all of our athletes become the best swimmers they can be. Let’s look forward to an awesome summer! GO TSUNAMIS!

Luisa DiFazio: I am a student at William and Mary, and I am so excited for my 6th year as an assistant coach! I started swimming for the Tsunamis back in 2010, and it has been a staple of my summers ever since. I oversee the Ripples program that focuses on our youngest swimmers, and I love working with these kids and seeing their growth as the summer progresses. I can't wait for another great season. Go Tsunamis!
Evy Cobean: I’ve been swimming for Summer Lake since moving to the neighborhood in 2020. I also train and compete year-round for Quest. I am a Red Cross Certified Lifeguard and work part time at the Quest Swim School as both a lifeguard and a swim instructor. I began volunteering with the Tsunamis as a junior coach in 2021 and became an official assistant coach in 2023, making this my fourth summer of coaching with the team. I will be attending Randolph College in the fall, where I will continue my swimming career and plan to major in elementary education. I love working with kids and am looking forward to another amazing swim season with the Tsunamis!
Bridget Martin: Starting at 8 years old, I have been a part of the Summer Lake Tsunamis since 2015. I’m a Red Cross Certified Lifeguard and have spent my recent summers working right here at our pool. I began my coaching journey as a volunteer in 2022, and I’m so excited to be back for my third year as an official Assistant Coach!! I'm currently a senior at Monacan High School in the Health Professions and Therapies Program. I am a captain on both Monacan’s swim team and soccer team. This fall, I’ll be playing soccer for the University of Mary Washington and studying Biology on a pre-dental track.
